CHEAP BROADBAND: How to Use Unifi for Half the Price

Cheap Broadband, you've got to be kidding me right???!!!!!! do I have to hack or crack or die?

Yes.... and no. It all depends on your approach.
You have got to do it to actually believe it.

A few minutes ago I was writing about how to enhance your wifi signal at home and suddenly an idea struck my brain like a midday lightning...!!!!! It's an idea that probably Tun Mahathir would have love it. >>>> share the internet connection.

If you are a subscriber to Unifi VIP5 Plan

1. Observe your immediate neighbors, find a decent character.
2. These characters should not be IT savvy.
3. Small family, young kids.
4. Working husband with a homemaker or both working is best.
5. A subscriber of Astro and not subscribed to any internet service provider.

From the above profiling this is your reading;

• You need a decent character neighbor that would agree to your offer and not haggle you down your throat. They must agree to pay half and not any other partial because when you share your wifi password, you can't control how much they use it... so it is only fair for a fifty-fifty share.
• If your neighbor is IT savvy, smart husband, smart teenage boy or alike... they will sure to fully utilize more than 50% of whatever you can expect. Hey, things happen you know.
• Family with infants or small children will do fine as the children will not be using or abusing it.
• If both parents are working.... meaning children gets sent to nursery home and no one will be using it until they get back from work. They will only use the internet to browse Groupon, Facebook, Lelong and check emails just before they go to sleep.
• Make sure they have Astro, it is important so that they get their kicks of watching movie from Astro and use the internet only for small matters. Imagine if they don't have Astro, they will be downloading movies like nobody's business. Crazzzzzyyyyy.

With that said, do your homework. Approach your prospect. Honor your deal and enjoy Unifi for half the price!!

Just so you know... everytime Unifi tele-promoters calls me for a package upgrade... I would always ask them to check whether my monthly usage have ever reach so much. I'm just an average user and I don't even need so much quota or speed. So, I always stick to VIP5 which by the way now is 157 Ringgit inclusive of GST (previously 149 Ringgit)
