A big loss for Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia

My heartfelt condolences to the family members and to their friends who were there at the scene last night. I feel your pain.

It struck my heart with an awful grieve. A pain of sadness that I never have felt before. There are no words that could be put together that would fully express what I am feeling today. Six rescuers from Jabatan Bomba lost their lives last night. The video showed their fellow officers tried CPR but to no avail.

They were trying to find a missing boy that was believe to have drowned. They have taken all necessary safety measures and precaution as per their SOP but they were defeated by the strong current. Then, this is an act of God. Rest in peace my heroes.

Patience

When I was younger I remembered there is this one time I attended a Scouts meeting at Titiwangsa. While waiting for the others to join us in the meeting room, I saw a phrase on the wall that goes something like this:

"Kesabaran itu bermula apabila kita mula hendak hilang sabar" which literally means "Patience begins when you're about to loose it".

It got stuck in my head. It changes people, it alters our state of mind to betterment. It made me a better person at least. Motivational quotes on the wall is a must have at home, school or office. It may not seem much but it will sink in overtime if not immediately. #FitMalaysia

Why is our defense minister telling the whole world about our military capability... or the lack thereof? Maybe he said it in closed quarters but the press carelessly posted it over the net. Somebody needs to address this immediately.

If any one of you observe your friends closely, you will find most if not all of them have some sort of addiction they present daily. I am not talking about drug addicts, I am talking about people who are addicted to conflict, I know few of my friends and family members that fits the profile. Some people are addicted to crisis, like your boss or ex-boss; they can't make do a day without trying to handle a crisis... so sad. Some are addicted to love and breakups, they like the sensation of feeling sad, crying, banging their head against the wall and whatever. Some people are addicted to problems, they only see problem around them and no idea how to go beyond that nasty thought. Your friends wants to eat Pizza, but this idiot will say something like this "but there is no bus going there at this hour" which is pretty annoying, I know I have two friends that fits the profile. What are you addicted to?
